CKRename is a handy utility you can use to perform batch file renaming
operations. It provides a three-pane interface: One to select a path, one to
display the contents of the current path, and the last to show the effects of
the renaming options you've chosen. You can eliminate file names, insert
strings before or after file names, or replace file names completely. You can
also choose to sequentially rename your files, change file extensions, change
case, and perform string substitutions. CKRename is very easy to use and, better
yet, it's free.
